Fatal Porsche Taycan Crash in Dilsen Leaves One Dead

A person died after an electric Porsche Taycan crashed into a tree and caught fire in Vissersstraat, in the Belgian town of Dilsen, Limburg province, overnight.
Three people were inside the car when the crash happened. The exact circumstances remain unclear, but initial reports suggest the occupants had been celebrating New Year’s Eve nearby.

The driver reportedly lost control while navigating a bend, causing the car to leave the road and hit a tree. Two occupants managed to escape, but the third became trapped inside as the vehicle quickly caught fire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but were unable to save the trapped occupant, whose body was found inside the burned-out car.

Police took the two surviving occupants in for questioning as investigators worked to establish what caused the crash.
On Wednesday morning, recovery crews arrived to remove the wreckage, while firefighters cut down the damaged tree.
The fatal crash shocked the local community and renewed calls for caution on the roads.
