Two KLM Boeing 777s Return to Schiphol

Two KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 777 aircraft returned to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on Sunday evening after technical problems were reported during their flights. Both aircraft landed safely, with no injuries reported among passengers or crew.

Flight KLM 835, bound for Bali via Singapore, took off at 9:54 p.m. but turned back while flying over Germany after a technical fault was detected. It landed safely at Schiphol at around 11:30 p.m.

Flight KLM 895, which departed for Shanghai at 2:33 p.m., also returned to Amsterdam after a problem with the onboard drinking water supply was reported while the aircraft was over Azerbaijan.

KLM said affected passengers were rebooked, with most expected to continue their journeys on Monday.
