Belgian Woman Accused of Killing Her Husband

A Belgian woman was arrested after allegedly killing her husband at their home in Belgium, with the case coming to light after she reportedly told their 22-year-old daughter that she had killed her father.

Daughter Finds Father Covered in Blood

The incident reportedly happened late on Sunday night, January 20, 2019, when the woman stood near her bed and called out to her daughter, Silka, telling her, “I killed your father.”

The 22-year-old daughter then rushed to find her father in the living room, where she reportedly discovered him with blood covering his face and chest.

Police arrived at the home shortly afterward and arrested both the daughter and her mother while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

After questioning, the daughter was released, while her mother remained in custody as the investigation continued, and police sealed the home and restricted access to the property until further notice.

Daughter Left Without Both Parents

The family’s lawyer said that Silka was now facing an extremely difficult situation because she had effectively lost both of her parents at the same time, with her mother in custody and her father dead.

The investigation was still underway at the time, and authorities were expected to examine the circumstances of the killing as the legal proceedings continued.
