Three Injured in Oostduinkerke Stabbing, One in Critical Condition

Three people were injured in a stabbing at an apartment building on Alfred Devoslaan in Oostduinkerke on Friday afternoon. The injured include two residents of the building and the suspected attacker, who was arrested by police. One of the three is in critical condition.

Emergency services were called to the area around 1:30 p.m. after an incident on the first floor of the apartment building. According to police, an argument broke out and one person pulled a knife and injured two others. The suspect was also injured during the incident.

Police arrested four people in connection with the case. The three injured people were taken to a hospital for treatment, with one reported to be in critical condition.

Alfred Devoslaan was temporarily closed while police investigated the scene but has since reopened to traffic. Police and prosecutors are continuing to investigate what happened. Authorities believe the argument was related to a family dispute.
